woow! You nailed this game. I loved it, and it's not like others of this style. Things aren't so hidden that the player gets frustrated and gives up. The way the spider moves is horrifying. Could maybe use some more mechanics, like the spider being attracted to the flashlight. Overall, incredibly creepy. Great work.
X-17 did nothing wrong! Just a big ol' puppy dog. I do wish there was a better ending where we could just re-capture it, rather than killing it, even if this ending was harder to get.
Hi! The developer of Huntsman has stated that the file size of the game is too large to be hosted directly on itch.io. Therefore, they use google drive normally but itch.io doesn't support from external hosters.
Try this:
Click on the download button. This will open a new tab in Google Drive.
Instead of clicking directly on "Download," click on the "Add shortcut to Drive" icon (top right next to the download button).
Add the folder to your own Google Drive account. Then download the folder from your own Drive to your computer.
Just finished it, and all i have to say is i hate you for making this XD Only 1 game really scare me this much and it was Alien Isolation i was trying to find a game that could give me the same feel and you nailed it. Just the spider moving gave me chills glad it's getting some attention! Keep up the good work!!
Hey man! I think you should add a jump scare for the spider, it would add to the environment of the game. I had my brother play the game in hopes of him getting scared, but it was an awkward silence after he died. It was still pretty intense and fun, but I wish death was more punishing. The game is super fun bro, I really appreciate you making it :)
You need to use UEVR, a program you can find on GitHub. You need a Desktop/VR ready Laptop, so if you only have a Quest or Pico, then you are out of luck
Just look for "Play Unreal Engine games in VR UEVR" on Google or YouTube, there should be tutorials out there
I don't know what to say. I think "scary" is an underestimation of the abomination that is this game. Truly one of the most horrifying games out there! Great job!
It worked! So I tried the work around only to see it give me the same error prompt, but after retrying soon after, it had worked. I am excited to play the game! Thank you for finding the community a solution rather than leaving us to suffer, lol
